Our own company, not a client project. Novid20 was the non-profit COVID-19 start-up that later became 2x10, used by millions of people and connected to laboratories whose systems we didn’t control.
Availability wasn’t a number in a monthly report. It was the condition for schools opening the next morning, and we ran it that way for two years.
A client's platform, publicly reachable and multilingual, holding billions of searchable records. We rewrote the indexing ourselves once the standard tooling proved too slow, and migrated it to the cloud while it kept running.
And the backups aren’t assumed to work. They’re proven every month by restoring them.
